Wilson (1923-2007) was born in Rochester, N.Y. Attended Alfred University before enlisting in the Army at New York City December 14, 1942. Joined the 10th Mountain Division at Camp Hale, Colo. where he was assigned to the 86th Infantry Regiment and later served with the 85th.
