Wilson (1923-2007) was born in Rochester, N.Y. Attended Alfred University before enlisting in the Army at New York City December 14, 1942. Joined the 10th Mountain Division at Camp Hale, Colo. where he was assigned to the 86th Infantry Regiment and later served with the 85th. Severely wounded during the battle for Mount Belvedere on February 20, 1945. Following three years of hospitalization, attended University of Denver, eventually entering the publishing and public relations field. Associated with the Disabled American Veterans since 1960. He worked as editor of several national publications including Skiing magazine and the DAV Magazine and is listed in the 1978 edition of Who's Who in International Public Relations.
