Many of the documents are connected with Oxford University. They include letters from Jerónymo Osório to R. Ascham, October 27, 1561, from Laurence Humphrey and [Thomas Sampson] to the bishops, and to the Queen concerning the Vestiarian controversy, [1565], from [the Commissioners for Queen's College, Oxford?] to Edmund Grindal [1561], from Roger Marbeck to the Queen, the Earl of Leicester, Thomas Thornton, [Thomas Young, Matthew Parker], the bishop of Salisbury, John Dolbeare, Henry Blageus, William Clerk, Reginald Pole, Dom. E.
