Glassmaker and sculptor born in 1910 in Fairmount City, Pa. Labino studied at the Carnegie Institute of Technology and Toledo Museum of Art School of Design. He held two honorary degrees from Bowling Green State University and the University of Toledo. He was a glassblower and sculptor, using a technique of free-hand blowing and hot-glass sculpting.
