Jim Gordon is Emeritus professor of journalism at BGSU, serving also as Director of News and Photography Services and adviser to The Key yearbook; Gordon joined the BGSU School of Journalism faculty in 1966, retiring in 1991; Jack Vivian began his coaching career at Bowling Green with the University's club hockey team, and continued by helping the program move to the varsity level, leading his first two teams to titles at the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association and playing an instrumental role in the creation of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA).
