Henry Drinker, a prominent Quaker merchant in Philadelphia, was the son of Henry and Mary Gottier Drinker. He married Ann Swett in 1754 and then, after her death, married Elizabeth Sandwith in 1761. Drinker is perhaps best known for his exile with other Quaker pacifists to Winchester, Virginia, during 1777-1778.
