Letter to Editor, Atlantic monthly, 1904 September 18.

Shepard writes that yesterday he sent from Albany the revised page proofs in galleys with corrections, including those he had telegraphed from New York. He has the page proofs here [Lake George] and for "safety's sake" he notes the corrections made. The corrections are listed along with a final warning "Keep the first paragraph where it is. Do not change according to [his] Albany letter."
