José Gómez Robleda was a teacher, psychiatrist, and Mexican government official. He wrote about the criminal mind and violence. Ramón Mercader (1914-1978) was the assassin (in August of 1940) of Soviet communist leader Leon Trotsky, who was then residing in Mexico.
