Oral history interview : Dudley Collard, Reed College, class of 1955 / interviewed by Scott Benowitz, 1996, on July 7, 2004.

Discussion of Collard's Reed years from 1950 through 1955 as a mathematics major under Lloyd Williams. The interview covers his family and childhood in London, his studies on the mathematics of airflow, relations with Portland, fencing and soccer at Reed, his work in a lumber mill, the student body make-up, the McCarthy Velde hearings, and his day-dodger experiences. He worked for aircraft companies including Boeing in fighter design and supersonic iarflow, then on the design of the Concorde for Sud, using Lagrangian mulitpliers in France, where he retired.
