The collection consists of the papers of Sharon Gagnon. The collection is divided into ten series: Biographical Materials, UAA Citizens Advisory Council (1976-1980), UAA Chancellors Search Committee (1978, 1981, 1993-1994), Anchorage Chamber of Commerce Education Committee (1981-1983), Ship Creek Steering Committee (1986), University of Alaska Board of Regents (1975-2002), Alaska Aerospace Development Corporation (1990-1998), Anchorage Organizing Committee for the Winter Olympics (1987-1989), Videocassettes, and Anchorage Arts Playbills, Programs, and Publications (1973-2003). The board and committee membership records include meeting minutes, correspondence, reports, budgets, agenda, surveys, policies, publications, and other relevant materials. The videocassettes concern the Alaska-Siberia Medical Research Project (1987), the Alaska Aerospace Development Corporation (ca. 1991), the ribbon cutting ceremony for UAA student housing (1998), the Anchorage Museum of History and Art (1998), and the Alaskan Native Education Summit in Anchorage (2002).
