This collection includes steel price books dating from 1903 to 1933. These were instructional books on price, terminology, size and gauge used at American Sheet and Tin Plate Company in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Some books indicate ownership by Joseph Johnson and W. C. Carroll, both of whom worked in the Frick Building, and George G. McGlaughlin of the Cleveland, Ohio, distribution office. The books contain notations regarding the variations in price for several different products the plant produced.
