Consists of thirty monthly dockets of the Supreme Court of the province of New Jersey in Perth Amboy dating from 1738-1745. The dockets record writs issued by the court, and were kept by either Joseph Rose or Thomas Barlow, probably clerks of the court. Writs in civil cases usually demand either financial restitution or direct a person to perform or refrain from performing a specified act.
