The papers consist of biographical materials, writings, diaries, correspondence, photographs, organizational records and subject files. Included are her typescript memoirs entitled "The Embattled Ladies of Little Rock" (published in 1999); organizational material from the Women's Emergency Committee to Open Our Schools such as minutes, correspondence, speeches, reports, and publicity; plus research material related to segregation in Arkansas and other southern states.
