The first part of the manuscript consists of a Mayan translation of the Passion, followed by instructions for the Mass. The second part of the manuscript consists of a record of deaths in Teabo, Yucatàn, beginning with an entry dated Nov. 22, 1803 and ending with one dated Oct. 6, 1875. Balthasar Mutul and Juan Tomas Mutul are mentioned. Folio 2 is inscribed "Teabo - Cayam Batab." Christian names written in Spanish.
