Chicago Fire telegrams : manuscript, 1871.

Collection of telegrams sent by various Chicago officials to J.G. Rowland, the mayor of Quincy, Ill., during and immediately after the Great Fire. The telegrams acknowledge the assistance give by the city of Quincy and include requests for continuing help.
