Correspondents include Ferdinand Schevill, Robert Hutchins, Thornton Wilder, W.F. Twaddell, and others. Papers reflect Schütze's views on philosophy, art, literature, education, as well as his specialty, German literature and culture. Subjects include the Goethe Centennial and the Woodstock Historical Society.
