William Everett papers, 1844-1910.

Papers of teacher and historian William Everett kept while a student at Harvard, professor of Latin at Harvard, and master at Adams Academy in Quincy, Mass., 1844-1910. Contains family and personal correspondence including letters on the death of his father Edward Everett in 1865; miscellaneous writings including a children's book written in 1853; and clippings concerning his writings. Also includes a Greek exercise book, typescripts of correspondence concerning Edward Everett's Gettysburg address, and a volume of lectures entitled, "Talks on Colonial History."
