A collection of correspondence, press releases, legislation and reports, speeches, publications, and newspaper clippings relating to the Congressional career of George H. Wilson. Photographs and the transcript ofan oral history interview conducted with Mr. Wilson in 1979 are also available. Unique items in this collection include notes and pamphlets regarding health insurance and public health gathered by Wilson during a congressional tour of Europe designed to study socialized medicine. The bulk of the papers cover the period 1949-1951.
