The collection consists of arbitration transcripts, 1955-1956, concerns cases of employees discharged by the company for performing acts of violence against either non-striking employees or company property during the 1955 strike of the Communications Workers of America against Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Company. The cases occurred in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.
