Royalty and celebrities scrapbooks, 1894,1929.

Scrapbook 1, 1894-1898, has a brown cover with a Father Christmas sticker on top of a flower and leaf design on the front cover. The spine and the cover have "Scrap Book" on them. The scrapbook includes newspaper clippings on theater performers, international royalty, both 19th century and earlier, society figures, and the Clara Ward scandal. Scrapbook 2, 1901-1908, is extremely oversized. It has a red and brown cover that has been "mended" with electrical tape. It includes newspaper clippings on international royalty and society figures. Scrapbook 3, 1919-1929, has a green cover with stylized black flowers and trim. It includes the same topical matter as Scrapbook 2, including European, British, Romanian, Dutch, Italian, Japanese, and Russian royalty and Queen Lilikoulani of Hawaii. The contents of all three scrapbooks are acidic. Mamie Oakman compiled these scrapbooks.
