The William Kemme Landels collection consist of 25 letter books of correspondence written primarily while he was a career missionary in Italy, first for the British Missionary Society of Great Britain and in his concluding years after World War I, for the Southern Baptist Convention. The letters are mostly general correspondence but occasionally contain a building diagram or a map to better describe church buildings and real estate purchases. The letters are mostly written in English but some are in Italian.
