Letters regarding Frank Dicksee's illustrations of Shakespeare [manuscript], 1911.

(1) Autograph letter fragment in the hand of Dicksee, addressed "Dear Sir" and dated Nov. 22, 1911. He discusses illustrations for the play Othello and a drawing of Volumnia and Coriolanus which he cannot recall making; (2) Dated Nov. 25, 1911, from Dicksee to C. Gerald Agnew. Mentions drawings he did of Othello and Desdemona and Julius Caesar; leaf 2v has several lines from Othello Act IV, scene 2 in another hand; (3) Dated Nov. 28, 1911, from Dicksee to C. Gerald Agnew. He mentions water colour drawings that were commissioned by Cassell; (4) is an autograph letter signed from C. Gerald Agnew to Col. Parker, dated Dec. 1, 1911. Agnew writes that he is enclosing three letters of Frank Dicksee on the topic of the two drawings by Dicksee that Parker has bought and another drawing belonging to a friend of Agnew. On letterhead of 14 Exchange Street, Manchester. (1)-(3) on letterhead of Greville House, 3 Greville Place, St. John's Wood, N.W.
