Consists of handwritten charts of financial data abstracted from the records of five cotton textile manufacturers held at Baker Library. The five firms were Nashua Manufacturing Company (1827-1914), Boston Manufacturing Company (1825-1865), Lawrence Manufacturing Company (1833-1891), Hamilton Manufacturing Company (1826-1886), Dwight Manufacturing Company (1865-1914), and Lyman Mills (1886-1914). The data includes statistics on company assets and liabilities, income and expense accounts, and payroll expenses. The payroll summaries include detailed information on the companies' female employees.
