General description of the collection: The Greenleaf A. & George S. Goodale photograph collection briefly covers the careers of father and son, both of which served in the 23rd U.S. Infantry Regiment. The photos cover both Goodales through the late 19th and early 20th century. The arrangement of the photos is chronological, so the father and son are interspersed throughout the collection. In addition to the 23rd Infantry, other subjects covered are Colorado College (1889-1890); USMA class of 1896; scenes in the Philippine Islands, mostly of a military nature; Plattsburg Barracks, New York; officers of the 17th Infantry Regiment, and the 12th Medical Regiment of the Philippine Scouts, ca. 1922.
