Summary: Photographs of places throughout Arizona in the 1930s to 1970 including aerial views, Navajo Mission schools, Lowell Observatory, bridges, lakes, dams, cities and towns, and national monuments. There are views of a sawmill and railroad roundhouse in Winslow, the Apache Powder Works company in Benson, and a guano extraction operation, and archaeological excavations. There are many image of Phoenix businesses, celebrations including the French "Merci" train, organizations, and aerial views. Also present are views of Glen Canyon Dam construction, the Roosevelt Dam dedication ceremony, students at Taliesen West, and a 1928 pageant at the Casa Grande ruins.
