Diocese of Siena notarial document, 1304.

Notarial document dated June 7, 1304, containing a copy of a privilege dated Aug. 16, 1210, granted by Emperor Otto IV to the Cistercian monastery of San Salvatore del Monte Amiata in the province of Siena. In the document, Rinaldo Malavolti (bishop of Siena, 1282-1307, before its elevation to archdiocese in 1459) testifies that this copy of the privilege corresponds exactly to the original shown to him by Abbot Neri at the monastery of San Salvatore del Monte Amiata.
