Orderly book, 1780.

Orderly book, August 8, 1780 - October 3, 1780. It contains headquarters, wing and division orders, including material on courts-martial and resolutions of the Continental Congress. There are orders concerning Arnold's treason and the sentencing of André. Dated from Orangetown, Teaneck and Steenrapie. A diagram inside the back cover shows an arrangement of army units, and there is a page of maxims in French, some attributed to Madame Deshoulières.
