Discussing Dickens' potential sale to Macrone of the copyrights to Sketches by Boz, noting that Dickens would take £250 "(no less)" for the two copyrights. Inquiring after particulars regarding payment amounts and schedule, should Macrone consent to the arrangement. Also inquiring whether Macrone intends to continue advertising a novel by Dickens and whether he intends to retain possession of Dickens' letter [concerning Gabriel Vardon], "respecting which, a misunderstanding has arisen" between Macrone and Dickens.
