Letter from cardinal Lorenzo Corsini, who later became Pope Clement XII, to the gonfaloniere and the priori of the city of Fano, written in Rome on December 31, 1707. The cardinal thanks the officers for their Christmas greetings and for the loyalty they have expressed towards him, and offers them his gratitude and support for anything they may need in the future.
