Dan Austin Collection : papers photographs cassette tapes 1937-1999.

A collection of research material used by Dan Austin in writing his book on Hugh Alexander. This collection includes a Chicago Cubs scouting manual, Alexander's travel scouting journal, photographs, undated scouting cards, transcripts and tapes from interviews and early manuscript chapters. Interviews include Fred Goodman, an associate of Alexander.
