Dos Passos papers concerning Spanish versions of his work [manuscript], 1944-1963.

The collections contains two letters to Argentinean literary agent Lawrence Smith regarding the Spanish book club edition of "The Grand Design," and possibility for "The head and heart of Thomas Jefferson," 1963; two carbon copies of a legal document signed in ink of a legal statement appointing Smith his "true and lawful attorney" for a variety of purposes, 1944, each with the seal of a notrary public attached; and a typed receipt for a payment signed by Dos Passos, 1954.
