There is a inquest transcript for the bodies of McBride, Kempton and Wootan, killed in 1918; a oral history interview transcript of Thomas Power from 1969; newspaper clippings, both contemporary and historical; death certificates for the Power brothers; and information about the restoration of the Power's cabin as a historic site.

John and Tom Power lived in a remote cabin in the Galiuro Mountains of Arizona with their father, Thomas J. Power. Graham County Sheriff Robert McBride, deputies Martin Kempton and Kane Wootan, and U.S. Deputy Marshal Frank Hayes attempted to arrest the sons for draft evasion during World War I. A shootout ensued, killing McBride, Kempton, and Wootan as well as the senior Power. The sons spent forty-two years in the state prison before they were paroled in 1960. From the description ...
