Autograph signed letter from David Hume to Gilbert Stuart, editor of the Edinburgh Magazine, commenting on alterations made to his review of Robert Henry's History of Great Britain. This letter, which corrects Stuart's edits to his article (Hume presumed them to be the work of the printer responsible), resulted in Stuart's rejection of the review and the publication of his own scathing review of Henry's work.
