Collection, 1891, of miscellaneous items. Included is a letter from R.B. Grace, President of the Court of Inquiry of the Organization, to S.W. Sprague of Greenville, Mich. The letter, dated Oct. 26, 1891, is written on illustrated letterhead and concerns memberhip fees. The illustrations include the organization's name ringing a round illustration of men fighting in battle. Officers named on the letterhead include Grace, Evan I. Bevan, and Edward T. Sowers. There are also broadsides (2) announcing the first national meeting of the organization in Detroit on Aug. 5, 1891. Lewis J. Allan, Chair of the Committee of Arrangements, Battle Creek (Mich.), and Geo. E. Dolton are named.
