Goates with the cooperation of the University of Utah Research Committee and the Utah Humanities Research Foundation, 1944-1947. Collection contains photographs and identification data for each costume.

The Utah Humanities Research Foundation was an organization begun in 1944 with a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation to collect and preserve cultural materials throughout Utah and neighboring regions. It began the publication of the Western Humanities Review. In 1950, Maurice Warshaw established an award for the most significant essay on the humanities to be submitted for publication to the Utah Humanities Research Foundation.
