Charles Frederick Koelsch, B.S. (1928), Ph.D. (1931) University of Wisconsin. Appointed as instructor of organic chemistry in 1932 at the University of Minnesota; retired as professor emeritus in 1973. C. Frederick Koelsch was born on January 31, 1907 in Boise, Idaho.
