Francis Bardanouve was born in Harlem, Montana, on December 10, 1917. He attended the Harlem public schools and graduated from Harlem High School. He was a stockman-farmer from the Harlem, Montana, area. He was first elected to the Montana House of Representatives in 1958 for the 36th Legislatvie Assembly.
