Autograph letter from Anne, Queen of Great Britain, Hampton Court, to [Godolphin] [manuscript], 1705 May 1? Tuesday.

Queen Anne asked [Godolphin] to find out who they are whom Lord Westmorland [deputy warden of the Cinque Ports] would have turned out in the Cinque Ports and what they are he would put in. She shall at all times willingly discourage all violent Tories and not encourage violent Whigs. Hill [Lady Abigail Mascham] has spoken of her brother's business.
