Prominent Socialist now progressive pamphlet [ca. 1912].

This folder contains a printed copy of a speech entitled "Progressivism: The remedy for present social evils" which Dr. John R. Furlong delivered in Boulder, Colo., on 22 Oct. 1912, in which he explained why he had switched from Socialism to Progressivism as his political philosophy. The pamphlet is badly water damaged and torn.
