This collection contains a Naropa bulletin and course catalogs, and publicity concerning programs sponsored by the Institute, including the Jack Kerouac Conference held in Boulder 23 July - 1 August 1982. Irwin Allen Ginsberg was born on June 3, 1926 in Newark, New Jersey to Louis and Naomi (Levy) Ginsberg. American poet, author, lecturer, and teacher who was one of the core members of the Beat Generation of American author's in the 1950's and early 1960's along with Jack Kerouac, William S.
