This folder contains the marriage certificate of Edward T. and Emily Ella Mayne Jones, 1888; a survey of the Jones Ranch in Sunshine, Colo., 1896; an eighth grade diploma of Forrest Jones from Sunshine School, 1911; and a certificate of service in World War I issued to Forrest Jones, 1918.

Forrest Jones' grandparents and father came from Wales and emmigrated to the U.S. in 1867. They first went to Blackhawk, where they worked in the gold mines. After an accident which left him unable to mine, his grandfather moved to Sunshine in 1876 and began ranching.
