Correspondence, dated Sept. 26, 1887, from Goodrich in Churchville (NY) to Mrs. William E. Decker in Trufant (Montcalm County, Mich.) concerning her request for the names of the men who served in Capt. W.F.P. Merrill's Company C, 11th New York Artillery. The letter was written on the letterhead of A.A. Tupper, dealer in meats in Churchville (NY). The envelope is stamped and covered with pencil doodle marks.
