The collection reflects Stuart's wide interests in the LWV government, youth and the political process, crime control, gun control, energy and conservation, and other national issues. There are a few personal letters. One of the largest parts of the collection concerns the League's successful campaign by initiative to redistrict the State of Washington, which drew national attention.
