Frances Marion (Fanny) Ralston was born on Jan. 7, 1875 in St. Louis, MO; studied at the New England Conservatory with Arthur Foote, Percy Goetschius, Fannie Payne, Nellie Strong Stevenson, Richard S. Robert Browning was a British poet. Born on May 7, 1812, Browning wrote his first major work,"Pauline: a fragment of a confession" at the age of twenty.
