Marriage certificate, dated Aug. 3, 1847, documenting the "joining in holy matrimony" of Alexander Grant of Northville (Mich.), age 40, to Louisa Brown of Ann Arbor (Mich.), age 33, by Edward McClure, Minister of the Gospel, as witnessed by T. Porter and J. Jonathan Stephans. The certificate is printed with additional information added in handwriting. The certificate was signed by McClure, Porter, and Stephans.
