Ecumenical Christian women's group. Church Women United of Wilmette (CWUW) was a local unit of the larger state organization Church Women United in Illinois (CWUI) which was itself a state unit of the national organization Church Women United (CWU). CWUW was composed of women from different denominations, who participated in a fellowship that promoted community wide projects congruent with the Christian Church.
