George J. Mehok papers, 1922-1994.

Includes nearly 600 letters written to Father Mehok spanning from 1931 to 1994 on topics from life in the seminary, insights and challenges of a priest's first assignment, life in the ministry, and from servicemen both stateside and overseas during World War II. Most prolific writers include Leo Howley, Stanley Powers, Larry Byrne, and in the servicemen's letters, Jerome Huschka. The subject files include personal and family documents, family genealogical information, items related to his parishes, and his trips to Asia and Europe.
