Liberty Hall restoration reports, 1978-1979.

This collection consists of reports on the restoration of Liberty Hall in Frankfort, Kentucky. The reports, dated 1978-1979, were made by Charles E. Peterson, architectural historian, restorationist and planner from Philadelphia, and Cynthia S. Cargas, restoration project coordinator, with the assistance of architects Harry M. Sparks, Jr. and Steven M. Albert to Liberty Hall Inc. and the Colonial Dames of America in Kentucky. The reports provide the history behind the house and land owned by John Brown and his descendents, past restoration, photocopies of maps, photographs of houses and architecture styles, plot and floor plans, copies of blueprints, and future restoration plans.
