Copper mining correspondence includes a letter from D.S. Rice, Detroit (Mich.), dated March 2, 1846, and transcription; letter from John Stockton, Sault Ste. Marie (Mich.), dated June 13, 1846; and a letter from Elisha Tyler, Detroit, dated July 12, 1846. All correpsondence regards copper mining in the Upper Peninsula.
