Howard Devron Orchestra collection [manuscript], circa 1961-1969.

The collection contains two letters on White House stationery from Lady Bird Johnson to Howard Devron, 1961, 1964, thanking Howard Devron for his music at a dinner and sending a photograph of him with Lynda Johnson. The collection also contains additional photographs of Devron and his orchestra at White House functions and autographed photographs ot Lyndon Johnson, Louise and J. Harwood Cochrane, and Perle Mesta. There are unsigned photographs of Devron with Richard and Pat Nixon, including one of Nixon playing the piano with the orchestra.
